An Environmental Research Project is Open for Crowdfunding on Kickstarter!

Now Seeking Community Support via Kickstarter, This Research Project is Launched by an Award Winning Industrial Ecologist & Co-Founder of the Mexican Center of Industrial Ecology, Daniel!

Daniel is an award-winning Industrial Ecologist and the Co-founder of the Mexican Center of Industrial Ecology, and he has proudly announced the launch of an inspiring new research project dedicated to Earth. Daniel has been awarded for research on avocado production and associated deforestation, and Circular Economy in Mexico. His new project is entitled ‘The Butterfly Effect: Deforestation and Commodities’, and he has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to raise funds and support for this project. 

“I am looking to fund research on agricultural commodities (avocado, oil palm, soy) associated with deforestation all around the world,” said Daniel, while introducing this project to the Kickstarter community. The goal of this Kickstarter campaign is to raise a sum of EUR 21,000 and the general idea of this research is to empower consumers in the combat against climate change and deforestation. Furthermore, the research and its findings will encourage informed decisions, making the supply chains of these crops transparent, and encouraging companies towards more sustainable practices.
